After meeting you at our guests in the village, where you will leave your car in secure parking and pack the required items for the evening in the desert, our overnight camel trek Merzouga will begin in the late afternoon, about 2 hours before sunset, and will take you right into the heart of the desert dunes. The hike will take about an hour and a half, and you will have the opportunity to see one of Morocco's most breathtaking sunsets. If you want to try sandboarding, you can do so throughout the trek. You'll stop in the middle of the Sahara to take pictures and enjoy the scenery before the sun sets, then continue to the camp where you'll be greeted with a glass of mint tea. As Berbers, we will provide you with the most authentic desert evening imaginable, complete with authentic food, music, and large tents to fit everyone. The next day, we suggest getting up before dawn to see a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After these lovely moments, you can have a delicious breakfast and shower at the camp, after which you can ride the camels back to the original starting spot, or you can be transferred directly from the camp to the village if you don't want to ride the camels.
